Redefining the Rare

It is a distinctive privilege to work with the most precious stones on earth and even more remarkable to be able to craft the rarest amongst them. From the NIRAV MODI archives, we present a glimpse of some of the extraordinary diamond jewelry from our atelier, some of which have been featured at international auction houses, Sotheby’s and Christie’s, and some of which are now with private connoisseurs.

Riviere of Perfection

The Riviere of Perfection is as close to the concept of perfection as a jewel can hope to get. With each stone being D color and IF clarity, all its centre stones are Type II A diamonds— the most superior white diamonds in terms of color and clarity. Moreover, the diamond necklace weighs exactly 88.88 carats; eight being a lucky number in Chinese culture. It was well received at the Sotheby’s auction in October 2012.

Shalimar Ring

A magnificent 1.25 carat Fancy Vivid Purplish Pink round diamond is set in a lotus of pink and white diamonds to create an extraordinary diamond ring. Only one in six diamonds of this hue and size have been uncovered in the past two decades.

With the main emeralds shaped as melon-carved beads, the Emerald Cuff is further accentuated with brilliant cut emeralds and diamonds.

Golconda Lotus Necklace

Auctioned at Christie’s, Hong Kong in 2010, this timeless diamond necklace features a stunning 12.29 carat Golconda diamond at its centre surrounded by pink diamonds that are held together by a lattice of our patented Ainra cut® diamond links.
